The immediate draw to almost every water feature we build is the cascading sound of the waterfall as it tumbles over the rocks and splashes down into its basin. The shape of the rocks, the height and number of drops, and the direction it faces, all add to the appeal of your waterfall. Getting those elements right is what makes the difference between a mediocre waterfall and one that will make your interaction with your yard magical.
Waterfall construction is a combination of both technical expertise and artistic expression. A waterfall serves a practical function in filtering and oxygenating a pond, but it also provides a habitat for wildlife to drink and bathe in. You will often see finches and other birds perched on the branches of aquatic plants and splashing in the pools of the falls.
Either as a standalone landscape water feature or as part of a pond, waterfalls and streams provide the sights and sounds that people are searching for to create a relaxing outdoor space.

Tonja and her crew rescued us! My hubby started building a pondless waterfall in our backyard, but it proved to be more difficult than we thought. After building and tearing it down multiple times (with major frustration), we called multiple places in the valley, yet the only one to return our call was Tonja at Andreatta Waterscapes. We initially called her to look at what was done and see if we could get advice on how to proceed and she was willing to come guide us. However, after meeting her and listening to her ideas, we instantly decided to hire her to finish the job for us (well basically tear most of it down and build it correctly-haha). They were on time, professional and did an amazing job & made it look easy (trust me, it’s not-leave it to the pros). Tonja and her crew created a beautiful waterfall that surpassed our expectations! "The water looks great"
We had a lot of algae in our pond and worried about the health of the fish. Andreatta Ponds responded to my voicemail within a couple of days and was there to take a look and offer solutions two days after that. We purchased two natural pond cleaners from them and some air stones, the water has been clear ever since. She even came back to put a lily in our pond while we were at work AND gave our dog some belly rubs on her way out. The water looks great and we can’t wait to have them come back to do a little makeover on our koi pond when the weather cools down a bit.

I moved into a house about 5 years ago and it had a beautiful koi pond. I asked who did the maintenance on the pond and was informed of Andreatta Waterscapes. I continued service with them and am so thankful that I did. The maintenance crew is respectful, knowledgeable, and do the best job of cleaning ever. "I can't recommend them highly enough!"
I called Andreatta Waterscapes because we had a leak in our fish pond. I'm so glad I did! Tonja came to our house and within 15 minutes had found the leak. This wasn't the first time we had somebody look at it but the other guy didn't believe it was a leak and that the water from the waterfall was just evaporating. We explained all of this to Tonja and she said that it was possible, but she still wanted to check around the pond to make sure. She found some bolts that had disintegrated in our skimmer and were letting water seep out. She gave us an estimate to come back to fix it and we scheduled for her and her crew to come do the work. I'm happy to say that the work was done very professionally and that we haven't had any unusual water loss over the past two weeks since they finished it. I can't recommend them highly enough! Tonja really knows what she is doing and we're happy she was able to fit us into her schedule. I've even got a consultation set up with her to talk about remodeling our waterfall!
